Privacy Policy – Dawoodi Bohra Daily Duas

This policy explains what information the Dawoodi Bohra Daily Duas Android app (package com.makkaji.dua_e_kamil, "the app") handles, and why. The app is published by Mahammadi Makkajiwala ("we", "us").

In short: the app has no sign-in and does not ask for your name, email, location, contacts or files. Duas, audio and PDFs are included in the app. Your bookmarks and reading progress stay on your phone. The app shows ads from Google AdMob and can receive announcement notifications through Firebase Cloud Messaging; those Google services collect limited device information, as described below.

Uninstalling the app, or clearing its storage in Android Settings, deletes all of this.

Third-party services

Google AdMob (advertising)

The app shows banner ads from Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads and prevent fraud, AdMob may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address, device and app information, and how you interact with ads. Depending on your settings and region, ads may be personalised. Learn more in how Google uses information from apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.

You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalised ads in Android Settings → Google → Ads (or Settings → Privacy → Ads).

Firebase Cloud Messaging (notifications)

The app uses Firebase Cloud Messaging to send occasional announcements to all users. To deliver them, Firebase creates a message token for your app installation. We do not link this token to you, and we cannot see your device details through it. You can turn notifications off at any time in Android Settings → Apps → Dawoodi Bohra Daily Duas → Notifications. What we don't do

We don't sell your information.
We don't ask for or collect your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos or files.
We don't run our own servers that receive data from the app.

Children

The app is meant for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us and we will help remove it.

Security

Information stored by the app stays in the app's private storage on your device, which other apps can't read. Data handled by Google services is protected under Google's own security practices.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app changes. The effective date at the top shows when it was last updated. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
